About the role
The stunning Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden in St Ives is looking for friendly and enthusiastic Casual Visitor Services Guides to help deliver exceptional experiences to our visitors.
As a Visitor Services Guide, you’ll be the welcoming face of the Garden—greeting guests, assisting with visitor enquiries, leading small group activities, and supporting events, education programs, and weekend operations.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide friendly and informative customer service to visitors
- Assist with public programs, tours, and events
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment
- Support the day-to-day running of the Visitor Centre
Required qualifications, skills and experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic and confident working with the public (including children and families)
- Interest in Australian native plants and local wildlife (training provided)
- Available to work weekends and school holidays as required
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID001, HLTAID002 and HLTAID003)
- Current Class C Drivers Licence
- Certificate III in Captive Animals and/or fauna care experience is desired but not essential
