About the role:
Lead the change and communications strategy for Council’s Yabbru/ERP SaaS transformation, helping teams and stakeholders navigate and embrace new ways of working. Partner with project leaders to align plans with organisational needs, while developing clear, actionable communication and training strategies. Provide expert advice to senior leadership and guide the implementation team through change readiness and impact assessments. You'll also supervise the IT/ERP Trainer & Communications Officer and play a key role in identifying and managing change-related risks.

We are seeking:
- Proven experience leading change, communications, and training for business systems projects in complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of change management frameworks (e.g. Prosci) and how they integrate with project delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to ambiguity, and communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in or understanding of local government operations is highly desirable.

This position is based in Tweed Heads, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
