The role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Customer Service Officer Leisure & Aquatics to deliver high-quality customer experiences across our modern aquatic and leisure facilities. In this frontline, part-time role, you will be the face of CBCity’s leisure centres, assisting with enquiries, sales, facility bookings, and kiosk operations. This is a great opportunity to work with a supportive team in a dynamic environment focused on community wellbeing.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
• Deliver exceptional service to patrons and resolve customer enquiries.
• Manage reception and kiosk operations, including point-of-sale and stock handling.
• Maintain presentation of public-facing areas and update promotional materials.
• Perform cash handling, reconciliations, and data entry with accuracy.
• Support membership sales, bookings, and daily administrative tasks.
• Participate in team training and assist in keeping website content current.
• Ensure safe, clean and welcoming spaces in line with Council values.

You will have
• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Proven experience delivering outstanding customer service in a public or leisure setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Cash handling and point-of-sale experience.
• Proficiency with basic administration and computer systems.
• Food handling certification and experience working in a kiosk or café environment.
Desirable: Certificate III in Fitness
This is a part-time role (minimum 19 hours per week). The salary range for this opportunity starts at Grade B, Step 1 pro-rata plus 12% super.
