Child Care Assistant – Year-Round Care
Summary of the position:
- Permanent Position – working 13 hours per week (Mondays & Tuesdays)
- Commencing at $421.85 per week hour + 12% superannuation
- Flexible Working Hours with availability between: NSW School Terms – 6:30am–9:00am & 3:00pm–7:00pm and NSW School Holidays – 7:00am–7:00pm
About the opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and flexible Child Care Assistant to join our Children’s Services team on a permanent part-time basis. In this role, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality child care in line with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and relevant legislation across our Before & After School Care and Vacation Care programs.
The successful applicant will succeed in this position by meeting the following criteria:
- Minimum Certificate III in Children’s Service
- Over 18 years of age with a minimum of 1-year experience working with children aged 5-12 years
- Current First Aid Certificate, CPR certificate, Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Available to work shifts between 6.30am – 9.00am and 3.00pm – 7.00pm during NSW Public School Terms; and shift between 7.00am – 7.00pm during NSW School Holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to work individually and collaboratively as part of a professional team
