The Community Response team is responsible for enforcement of animal control, abandoned motor vehicles investigation, parking enforcement, footpath obstructions investigation, overgrown land, compliance programs, illegal roadside trading investigation and litter/rubbish dumping investigation.
About the role:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Community Response – Team Leader to join our growing team in the area of ranger and parking services.
In this role, you will be responsible for proactively leading a team of Community Response Officers and Parking Officers, including monitoring and reviewing all relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice that relate to the activities of the Community Response team to ensure standards are adhered to and carry out patrols, make inspections and respond to customer inquiries.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following key skills and attributes:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a related field and/or extensive job-related experience in compliance/law enforcement field.
- Demonstrated previous experience in leadership
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the interpretation and application of relevant regulation and legislation.
- Current Class C Driver's Licence.
- Knowledge of Work Health and Safety practices, the principles of Equal Employment Opportunity, ethical practice and multicultural diversity.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly motivated and can apply common sense, fairness and consistency in applying standards.
