Your Role:
As a Light Vehicle and Minor Plant Mechanic, you’ll provide high-quality mechanical services in line with industry standards, ensuring the maintenance and enhancement of the City’s light vehicles and minor plant. You’ll also assist, when required, with the maintenance and repair of other City assets.
Reporting to the Team Leader Workshop, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform repair and maintenance of light vehicles and minor plant equipment;
- Record mechanical tasks carried out on mobile and fixed equipment;
- Maintain plant and vehicle service and repair records through a corporate asset management system; and
- Interpret parts, manuals and ordering of parts for equipment and assets.
