Under the City of Kwinana’s structured remuneration system, this position is classified as a PACS Band 7 (range $91,667 - $100,522 p.a – dependent on qualifications and experience).

We’re seeking a highly motivated and dedicated professional to lead and support the City’s learning and development initiatives. In this role, you’ll partner with managers and employees to advise on tailored learning solutions, design and implement strategies, and drive programs that build capability across the organisation.
You’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth—helping to shape the future of both the City and the HR Department.

What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Previous experience providing administration and advice for training, or L&D within local government or a similarly complex organisation.
- Computer literacy skills including word processing, excel and HR software/ applications and other emerging programs/platforms.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to provide advice and information to stakeholders, as well to negotiate and manage conflict in the workplace.
- Conceptual and analytical skills to develop training plans and identify opportunities to improve L&D for the City.
- Well-developed organisational skills and initiative to manage programs and deliver timely services.
- The ability to mentor and coach staff and work effectively in a team environment, as well as being able to work autonomously.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
