The Crossing Theatre is a leading multi-functional entertainment venue located in the vibrant Narrabri Shire offering a range of services including a café , candy bar, state of the art cinemas and box office services and multiple event/function rooms. We are passionate about delivering exceptional high-quality meals and creating memorable experiences.
About the Role:
As a Permanent Part Time Front of House Attendant, your role will be vital to the success of The Crossing Theatre's daily activities and functions of our customer service operations. From providing professional table service in our café, handling ticket sales and concessions in the candy bar and cinema, to assisting with the smooth running of other functions, performances, and events. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and seating guests
- Taking food and drink orders
- Preparing and delivering drinks and meals
- Answering customer inquiries and making menu recommendations
- Using a point-of-sale system and handling cash
- Adhering to Food Safety Standards, Responsible Service of Alcohol, and Movie Classification legislation
- Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of all areas of the venue

About You
We are seeking a natural born people person who is reliable and thrives in a fast paced environment, someone who is not only efficient but also has a genuine passion for the hospitality industry. You will possesses excellent communication skills, is enthusiastic, punctual and has the ability to problem solve and use initiative. The ideal candidates has:
- Demonstrated customer service experience.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekdays and weekends.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous experience with point of sale systems.
