City of Canada Bay Council is seeking a passionate Library Assistant to join our Library Services team on a permanent part-time basis. If you are enthusiastic about assisting the community and are looking to kickstart your career in library services, this role is perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities
As a Library Assistant, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with circulation and desk routines, and support library staff in various tasks. This hands-on role offers a chance to engage with library programs, promotions, and daily operations. This is a permanent part time role based at The Connection.
Desired Candidate Profile
Successful candidates will have completed their HSC or equivalent, possess computer literacy skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality customer service. Preference will be given to applicants currently studying Library and Information Services.

- Passion for assisting the community and promoting library services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

What’s on offer
We are offering an attractive total remuneration from $56,618 to $65,092 plus super.
