The Lilliane Brady Village is a 44-bed residential aged care facility in Cobar. Cobar is a rural mining town located in far western NSW, our shire is one of the largest in the state, spanning over 44,000 square kilometres.
As a Graduate Registered Nurse you would be responsible for:
- Delivering high quality, person-centered care to our residents, including assessments, wound care, medication management and continence support
- Model professionalism and a compassionate approach to resident care
- Actively contribute to care planning and quality improvement initiatives within the facility
- Collaborate with residents and their significant others as well as members of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes
We are looking for suitably qualified and motivated staff who are passionate about aged care. Our ideal candidate will have previous clinical experience in an aged care setting (if not as an RN, as an AIN/PC), a caring and supportive nature, a positive 'can do' willingness to go the extra mile, and an interest in continuous learning.
Council is offering $43.18/hr (RNY1) plus applicable allowances and shift penalties in accordance with the Nurses' (Local Government) Residential Aged Care Consolidated (State) Award 2024.
Applicants must provide a covering letter, current resume, and a copy of their AHPRA registration.
For the right candidate, Council will consider VISA sponsorship under our existing Orana DAMA Labour Agreement after a satisfactory probation period.
Applicants must have suitable working rights and already be living in Australia to apply for this position.
