Are you ready to take that next step in your career? We are looking for a motivated person to lead one of our Civil Works Teams. You will assist in managing an energetic and engaged team working on a variety of tasks associated with the planned and reactive maintenance and construction of Council’s Civil Infrastructure. What this role looks like:
• Allocate resources to the team to carry out tasks associated with the maintenance, repair, replacement or upgrade of Council’s Civil Infrastructure.
• Complete planned and reactive tasks including the filling of potholes, asphalt and concrete wedging and other civil related maintenance duties
• Day to day management of the team and associated work tasks
• Assist with the coordination and supervision of contractors.
• Lead and maintain team engagement and facilitate a culture that reflects corporate values.
• Drive and operate plant and equipment including daily maintenance checks and reporting of issues.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
• Certificate IV or Diploma in Civil Maintenance
• 5+ years’ experience in maintenance and construction of civil infrastructure
• NSW Class HR license
• White Card – General Construction
