We’re looking for a strategic and collaborative leader to coordinate Council’s Enterprise Applications and GIS Team. In this role, you’ll oversee the management, optimisation, and development of our core enterprise platforms including Civica Authority, Infor Pathway, and the ESRI GIS platform ensuring they are stable, secure, and aligned with organisational needs.
You’ll play a key role in supporting critical business functions across finance, payroll, property, planning, customer service, asset management, and environmental monitoring. By driving integration, custom development, and vendor partnerships, you’ll ensure our ERP and GIS platforms deliver maximum value, efficiency, and service outcomes in line with Council’s Digital Strategy.

LET’S HEAR ABOUT YOU
You will bring a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership capability to this role. With a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, GIS, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience, you have a proven track record of leading enterprise applications or GIS teams in complex organisations. Your background includes deep experience in ERP administration, support, and optimisation, coupled with strong knowledge of how ERP systems underpin business processes. You are highly skilled in GIS platforms, with expertise in configuration, custom development, and integration of geospatial applications.
You are adept at delivering system enhancements and integrations that streamline workflows and improve efficiency, and you have demonstrated success in managing contracts and negotiations to achieve value-for-money outcomes. Your ability to engage stakeholders and translate technical capabilities into practical business solutions sets you apart, as do your financial and vendor management skills in budgeting, licensing, and contract negotiation. Above all, you bring integrity, confidentiality, and ethical judgement to the management of sensitive data, ensuring trust and confidence in Council’s systems.
