The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our team at Melrose Lodge, an 80-bed residential aged care facility based in Pendle Hill. You will bring a passion for person-centred care in providing exceptional clinical services to senior members of the community.
You will play a pivotal role in delivering person-centred care that empowers our Care recipients to live with dignity, independence, and choice. Guided by a Consumer Directed Care approach, you will ensure the highest standards of clinical governance and service delivery, aligned with Aged Care Quality and Clinical Governance Standards. Your expertise will not only enhance wellness and lifestyle outcomes for our residents but also inspire and mentor our care team, fostering a culture of compassion and excellence. Night shift role with mix of weekday and weekend shifts available.
In fulfilling the role, it is essential that you have:
- Full unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards, including the new strengthened standards
- Open to post-graduate applications
- Affinity and experience working with residents with dementia
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Excellent Team player who is highly motivated
- Visa sponsorship will be considered for the right candidate
- Relocation assistance will be considered for the right candidate
- Availability to work various shifts across various days

Pre-employment screening
The successful candidate is required to have completed/have a willingness to undertake the following:-
- Vaccinated in accordance with UPA’s Immunisation and Vaccination Policy. (including proof of the required doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine and annual influenza)
- Undertake a National Criminal History Check
- Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
