Human Resources Officer - 2 year temporary full-time position Working with the HR Coordinator who will mentor you through recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management and industrial relations.
- You will be adaptable, ambitious and thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment whilst working in a collaborative and supportive team where variety and challenge is the norm.
- You are looking for the opportunity to expand into Local Government and make use of your current qualifications and/or experience (Certificate IV in HR or similar qualification/ experience) and have a strong generalist HR background.
- You think outside the box and are pro-active and enjoy advising, assisting and coaching Managers and Supervisors.

- Experience in a generalist Human Resources environment, with particular emphasis on recruitment and selection, performance management and learning and development
- General knowledge of employment-related legislation, industrial instruments and their application
- Sound working knowledge of the Microsoft office suite of products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Current Driver’s licence
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and activities in a fast-paced environment
- Well-developed written and reporting skills
- Strong and effective communicator with a diverse range of people
