What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
- Proven ability to plan, prioritise and deliver projects on time and within budget
- Strong understanding of drainage design, stormwater systems, and flood mitigation
- Confident interpreting engineering standards, legislation, and local laws
- Skilled in hydrologic/hydraulic modelling and catchment analysis
- Experience with WSUD, IWM, and sustainable drainage solutions
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, DRAINS or similar software
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Collaborative, solutions-focused approach to stakeholder engagement
- Experience in development approvals and contract management
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and eligibility for Engineers Australia membership
- Current Driver’s Licence and Police Check (or ability to obtain)
- Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or ability to obtain one prior to commencement.
Salary and Conditions
The position is classified within
Band 6 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $93,602 to $101,911 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
