POSITION:
Junee Shire Council currently has a Wastewater Services Operator position available for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to work with their Team leader at the sewer treatment plant. The position presents an excellent opportunity to pursue a career in the water industry in the local area.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The position of Wastewater Services Operator would ideally suit a person who is prepared to work outdoors, have good fitness and health, be willing to learn, follow direction, show initiative and responsibility and have a genuine interest in the water industry.
Applicants must be either an Australian Citizen or have the right to work in Australia.
CONDITIONS:
The position is graded in Council’s Salary System, with a salary range of $1,176.80 to $1,324.50 per week, depending on qualification skills and experience. Employment conditions are as per the current Local Government (State) Award and the Junee Shire Council Salary System including:
- 9 day fortnight (38hr week)
- Plus 12% superannuation
A complete medical fitness assessment will be required to be undertaken by the successful applicant.
