The Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated Cook to join our team at Holbrook Village in Holbrook.
You will prepare nutritious, high-quality meals that meet residents’ dietary needs and preferences, while helping create a welcoming dining experience.
About You
You will bring:
-
Knowledge of food safety standards and experience working to HACCP requirements
-
Certificate III and IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality
-
A Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
-
An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and special dietary requirements
-
Respect for residents’ rights, person-centred care and dignity of risk
-
Strong time management and communication skills
-
A flexible approach and the ability to manage change effectively
-
Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
-
A motivated approach and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
-
Availability to work weekend shifts
Experience in aged care and a current First Aid Certificate are desirable.

Pre-employment Screening
