We are currently seeking a suitably experienced person to support groups, families and individuals, including youth, within the Bland Shire Community by providing information, resources and support and to work in partnership with the community on capacity building projects and programs, building social capital.
You will be required to work a
minimum of 21 hours per week.
What we are looking for in you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Development/ Social Policy/ Community Service/ Social Work and/or significant experience and a history of success in such fields.
- Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary community development principles, processes and practices.
- Ability to write reports, memos and other correspondence as required to support the implementation and evaluation of social programs.
- Ability to plan and organise workload to achieve objectives within set timeframes, priorities and available resource allocation.
- Current class "C" Driver's License.
- Provision of a current National Criminal Records Check.
- Current NSW Working with Children Check.
