About the Opportunity
At PMHC every employee plays a part in ensuring we

achieve this we are seeking a progressive, energetic leader to drive excellence in our Community Utilities Operations team.
On a day-to-day basis, this role will:
- Oversee the daily management of water, wastewater and waste, including distribution, collection, renewals, and facility management.
- Coordinate and manage the maintenance of key infrastructure assets such as water and wastewater treatment plants, recycled water plants, waste management facility, and transfer stations.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and safety standards while promoting a safety-first culture among the team.
- Manage service delivery within budgetary constraints, prioritising timely infrastructure maintenance and operational efficiency.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement through effective leadership and mentorship, ensuring operational excellence.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has degree-level qualifications in Civil Engineering or a relevant technical discipline, complemented by strong leadership skills.
- Demonstrates strategic thinking capabilities through contribution to the development and maintenance of asset management plans and operational frameworks.
- Exhibits attention to detail, ensuring compliance with legislation and safety standards.
- Has excellent communication skills to engage with key stakeholders.
- Showcases financial acumen with an understanding of budget management principles.
Remuneration and Benefits
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per
week
- Starting Salary (inclusive of super) in the range of
$210K - $220K
- Opportunity for performance-based increase available after 12 months.
- This role also qualifies for a Leaseback or Vehicle allowances
- Relocation assistance may be available for candidates
moving to the region
