About the role
We’re seeking qualified and experienced tradespeople to join our team, with opportunities available at the following Field Service Centres
Windsor, Penrith, Narellan, Hoxton Park, Nowra, Katoomba, Parramatta and Bowenfels.
Applicants must hold a trade qualification as a Distribution Powerline Worker.
- Base Salary $80,500 to $90,900 (average 36 hours per week, 9-day fortnight), + 16.5% super + allowances and additional benefits.
- Total typical earnings $135,790 to $147,358 per annum (This is an estimate based on most common amounts paid last year, and not a guarantee of future earnings)
Working as part of a small crew, you will be involved in:
- all facets of underground, overhead and substation construction and maintenance activities as well as emergency restoration work.
- after-hours fault & emergency response work when required.
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to meet the following requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Distribution Powerline Worker
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the construction, installation, repair and maintenance of underground and overhead distribution assets
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team with a customer-centric approach
- Demonstrated personal commitment to working safely, with sound knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures for field operations
- Current HR driver’s licence
The following would be highly desirable:
- HC Licence
- WorkCover Certificaties: EWP, C2, DG & Forklift
- Traffic Control Certificates
- Switching capability
- Ability to use iPads and Microsoft Office
