Facility Duty Officer

We are seeking for a Facility Duty Officer to oversee the day-to-day operations of our aquatic facilities. If you have a passion for aquatic safety, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high professional standards within a team focused environment this role is for you!
A snapshot of your new role:
- Supervision of rostered Leisureplex staff while on shift
- Responding promptly to incidents and emergencies
- Facilities maintenance, ensuring safe, clean and healthy aquatic facilities
- Providing a great customer experience to patrons
- Monitoring facility operating systems, including pool plant, filtration and heating systems
- General administrative duties relating to aquatic operations
How you will thrive in this role:
- Experience supervising staff in an aquatics or recreation centre environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of pool plant operations
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, including handling emergency situations
- Exceptional communication skills and able to interact confidently with a range of stakeholders
- Current Pool Lifeguard, Group 1 Pool Operator, CPR & Provide First Aid Certificates
- Current Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus
- LIWA Accreditation
