Your Role as a Team Leader
As the Team Leader of our Animal Shelter, you will provide both strategic direction and hands-on leadership to ensure the smooth and effective operation of our facility. You will maintain high standards of animal welfare and oversee the day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements. Your strong leadership and decision-making skills will help support positive outcomes for animals, focusing on their reunification and rehoming.
Your role will involve fostering constructive relationships with veterinarians, welfare partners, volunteers, and the broader community. You will be responsible for workforce planning, operational processes, and resource management, ensuring that we deliver sustainable and efficient services. Additionally, you will oversee all administrative and compliance functions, maintaining accuracy in recordkeeping and financial integrity, while contributing to strategic planning initiatives that enhance our shelter's role within the community.

- Proven experience in management (animal related environment preferred).

- Package:$113,000 - $124,000 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation. Salary will be determined based on the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
- Hours of work:Temporary Full Time 38 hours per week 9 day fortnight. Opportunity is expected to be available up to the end of August 2026.
