Use your skills and experience
in project managing the delivery of a joint flood mapping project with
Melbourne Water which involves engaging with range of key stakeholders, the
community, as well as the implementation of high priority actions of the
Manningham Integrated Water Management Strategy.
Be part of the coordination and delivery of an important and
strategically positioned Flood Modelling project for Council.
Utilise your technical expertise and project management skills to achieve
integrated water management outcomes.
Use your communication skills in developing and building strong
foundations and partnerships with key stakeholders.

About the role
You will be responsible for providing and
coordinating the relevant technical advice in managing a joint flood modelling
project with Melbourne Water.
You will also be responsible for the
implementation of high priority actions in the Manningham Integrated Water
Management Strategy.
- Tertiary qualified in Civil Engineering, Water
Resource Management, Environmental Engineering Environmental Science, Urban
Planning or other relevant field.
- Experienced in ability to contribute to and/or
delivery of the flood modelling which is a strategically positioning project
within council.
- A problem solver, with ability to identify and
manage complex issues and risks and identify and implement alternative
solutions.
- Proven and well-established verbal and written
communication skills.
- Flexible, agile and able to respond to changing
priorities and to complete tasks within tight timeframes, including procurement
processes and contract management.
