About the role
As a Business Improvement Analyst at Bayside Council, you’ll act as an internal management consultant, analysing internal processes, identifying optimisation opportunities, and implementing initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and community impact. Working collaboratively with a wide variety of stakeholders, you will ensure continuous quality improvement across the organisation.
You can also expect to:
- Collaborate with teams across the organisation to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve resource utilisation.
- Document and analyse business processes and requirements, technical functions, and user requirements to guide improvements.
- Contribute to service reviews, providing insights and recommendations to support ongoing improvement and best practice adoption.
- Lead and the delivery of improvement projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Apply PRINCE2 methodologies within the Bayside Project Management Framework to ensure project consistency and success.
About you
We are looking for a someone who has:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders.
- Practical experience in business improvement, process analysis, or project management supported by a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Commerce, Management or Information Technology.
- An analytical mindset, capable of identifying problems and developing innovative solutions.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality results.

Salary range: $98,342 to $110,143 per annum plus 12% superannuation
