Your new job
The Asset Engineer supports the development and management of Council's assets and maintenance systems, overseas asset data, plans capital works, and ensures workplace healthy and safety compliance. This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful infrastructure projects while contributing to the growth and prosperity of our regional community.

About you:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognised
by the Institute of Engineers Australia
- Class C Drivers Licence
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact at
all levels on technical advice and policy issues to both internal and external
clients
- Experience in asset management within Local
Government
- Ability to lead a small team to achieve corporate
goals
- Proven ability in the use of effective decision
making and problem-solving techniques/processes
- High level of computer systems literacy
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety
responsibilities and a commitment to attending relevant WHS training
This role requires a satisfactory National Police History Criminal Check prior to commencing.
The salary range being offered for the position of Assets Engineer is $3,602.60 - $4054.60 per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $93,667.60 - $105,419.60 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).
