SALARY: $114,978 - 131,724 p.a. + Super

Camden Council is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our high performing team as a Transformation Project Manager.
Reporting directly to the Director Customer & Corporate Strategy, this critical role will lead the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives, building momentum and accelerating progress on high impact change programs. The role will also support the identification and delivery of improvement opportunities that leverage digital, data and emerging technologies, including AI, automation and analytics, to enhance services and ways of working.
The successful applicant will have a strong track record in leading transformation, combining exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, to drive outcomes that make a real difference.

Essential:
- Demonstrated experience leading or enabling complex business transformation or improvement initiatives within large or complex organisations.
- Proven experience identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities, working collaboratively with business units to deliver practical outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience applying digital, data or emerging technologies (such as AI, automation or analytics) to enable business improvement or transformation.
- Strong experience in project delivery, including the application of project management and agile delivery approaches.
- Demonstrated change management capability, including stakeholder engagement, effective communication and supporting adoption of new ways of working.
- Highly developed communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in business transformation, project or change management, digital transformation or a related discipline.
Desirable:
- Sound knowledge of, or experience in, the local government environment.
- Experience applying contemporary project, change or continuous improvement methodologies, tools and techniques.
