An exciting opportunity exists to join the City’s Executive leadership team in the critical role of Director Corporate Services.

About the role
The City would be unable to deliver the amazing services to its residents and community without the Director Corporate Services, an integral member of the Executive Team who plays a pivotal role in supporting the City’s future growth through strong financial management and responsive customer centric services.
The role is responsible for the shaping and driving the strategic direction of Corporate Services, bringing together a range of functions to collectively achieve the City’s objectives as set out in the Strategic Community Plan 2023-2033 and overseeing the delivery of the City’s Corporate Business Plan.
The role provides high-level, strategic, credible and evidence-based advice to the Chief Executive Officer, Council and Executive on corporate services and the City’s overall strategic direction and financial stability and leads the delivery of corporate service functions and strategic projects to ensure operational excellence.
About you
You have high business acumen, demonstrated through your proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams in complex and dynamic environments.
You will be a contemporary leader, who fosters and role models safe, inclusive and respectful behaviour and promotes governance, integrity, compliance and continuous improvement.
Critical to the role will be your ability to build and maintain productive relationships with City staff, Council and community stakeholders.
What we offer
The City will offer a competitive remuneration package commencing from circa $290,000 per annum to our ideal candidate, commensurate with the skills and experience brought to the role.
