We are seeking a reliable and compassionate cook/kitchenhand to support all aspects of kitchen operations, including meal preparations, cooking, service, and cleaning. Our preferred candidate will be an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and time management skills to be part of a fast-paced dynamic team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Lilliane Brady Village, is a 44-bed residential aged care facility in far western NSW, owned and operated by Cobar Shire Council.
The Cook/Kitchenhand role will assist in the compliance of a commercial kitchen meeting food safety standards and the delivery of delicious meals in accordance with individualised dietary needs whilst ensuring the residents’ independence, choice, dignity, and rights are maintained.
This part time role offers a commencing wage of$32.24/hour, working a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight and up to a maximum of 76 hours per fortnight in accordance with the terms and conditions of theLocal Government, Aged, Disability, and Home Care (State) Award.
The successful candidate will be required to work shift work, including weekends and public holidays and possess the interpersonal skills to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
