This is a hands-on leadership role, combining administration and field work. You
will lead by example while supporting your team to achieve service delivery
outcomes. You will provide onsite direction, promote safe work practices, and
help structure daily work programs to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
and to a high standard.
The role also includes supervising contractor works, communicating with
internal departments, and responding professionally to requests and enquiries
from members of the public.
You will play an active role in enhancing and maintaining the presentation of
public open spaces throughout Manningham.
Who are you

background in landscape maintenance and a passion for delivering high-quality
outcomes in public open spaces. You thrive in a leadership role and lead by
example through your commitment to safety, quality, and service delivery.
- You have experience leading and supporting landscape
maintenance crews in daily operations, ensuring works are completed
efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. You are skilled in creating
maintenance schedules and programs, organising resources, coordinating tasks, as
well as managing workloads to meet service delivery objectives.
- With proven leadership experience, you provide clear
on-site direction, support team development, and maintain productivity through
clear communication. You are confident assessing situations in the field,
making sound decisions, and exercising good judgement, including knowing when
to confer with Senior Officer or other stakeholders.
- You bring hands-on experience operating plant and
equipment used in landscape maintenance. You are experienced and comfortable
supervising contractor works, working with internal stakeholders, and engaging
professionally with the public, to contribute to the ongoing enhancement of
