About The Role
The Cleansing Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of Public Place Cleaners. This position ensures that cleansing services across town centres and public spaces are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.
Reporting to the Coordinator Cleansing Services, the Cleansing Supervisor is responsible for maintaining work quality, safety, and productivity. The role involves direct engagement with team members to improve performance, promote a positive work environment, and address service deficiencies promptly.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of practical experience and leadership skills, enabling them to effectively manage a team and ensure service quality.
- Relevant operational or supervisory qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence and necessary background checks.
- Experience in public place cleansing or similar outdoor services.
- Strong supervisory skills in a hands-on operational environment.
- Knowledge of WHS regulations and safety protocols.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in customer-facing roles.
In addition, the candidate should demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, time management skills, and a commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace culture.

- Package:$78,717-$83,439 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
- Hours of work:Permanent Full Time.You will have the option of a 19 day month through Council’s flex system.
