Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a motivated and professional
Executive Assistant to join our team!
This
full time position and is based in Condobolin.
This Position is a key position within Council, it provides a high level of administration and operational support to the General Manager ensuring that the office is high functional and responsive. The role also includes dealing with confidential, high level information as well as providing secretarial support to the Mayor and effective engagement and liaison with the Mayor, Councillors, government departments, grant bodies, local businesses and community stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the role include overseeing the coordination of the community event approval process and liaising with Section 355 Committees and Community groups regarding their event applications.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent relevant work experience
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
- Highly developed organisational, planning and time management skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Softwares
- The ability to maintain a high level of diplomacy, trust and confidentiality
- Current Class C Driver Licence
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

What we Offer
Salary and Conditions:
- Salary range: $3,414 to $3,670 per fortnight
- Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
- Position classified at Grade 11 within Council's Salary Structure.
- Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
