The City of Greater Geraldton is seeking two experienced and community-minded leaders to join its Ranger Services Team as Senior Rangers. This is an opportunity to collaboratively lead people, support a growing community and help maintain the safety, amenity and liveability of one of Western Australia's leading regional cities.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead, guide and support Rangers promoting high performance, accountability and professional growth.
- Coordinate team operations including rosters, workloads, operational priorities and service delivery outcomes.
- Interpret, apply and provide advice on legislation, policies and procedures, ensuring consistent compliance outcomes.
- Undertake and oversee compliance activities, applying education, engagement and enforcement with professionalism and sound judgement.

Position Requirements
- A strong commitment to leadership and exemplary customer service.
- Well-developed communication skills with the ability to educate, influence and enforce.
- Effective time-management, organisational and prioritisation skills.
- The ability to apply human resource management principles and processes.
- The resilience and professionalism required to lead a team operating in a dynamic and often challenging environment.
A pre-employment medical, including alcohol and other substance testing, is required for this position.
Remuneration and Benefits
Senior Rangers work a roster that includes one weekend in four and public holidays which attracts:
- Salary between $ 108,619 and $115,224 per annum inclusive of 15% roster loading
- 22 days annual leave each year
- Weekly accrual towards 12 rostered days off each year
- Base salary $94,452 to $100,195 per annum.
