About the Position
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Facilities Operations Officer to join our Facilities and Property Team.
Working across a diverse portfolio of Shire facilities, you'll play an important role in coordinating maintenance activities and ensuring community assets remain safe, functional and well presented for residents and visitors.
As part of our team, you will support the day-to-day operation of Shire facilities by coordinating maintenance activities, monitoring asset presentation, managing service requests and assisting with contractor engagement. Your strong organisational skills and proactive approach will help us deliver high-quality facilities for our community.
This position is responsible for:
- Coordinating maintenance activities across Shire facilities and community buildings.
- Conducting facility inspections and identifying maintenance requirements.
- Coordinating contractors and service providers to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
- Managing maintenance requests, work orders and related records.
- Monitoring facility presentation standards and arranging rectification works as required.
- Supporting the delivery of safe, compliant and functional facilities for the community.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in facilities operations, building maintenance, property services or a related field.
- Experience coordinating maintenance activities and contractor works.
- Strong organisational and administration skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Sound knowledge of building maintenance practices and facility operations.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A current C Class Driver's Licence.
