The Opportunity
We are looking for a Casual Cook to join our team at Oolong Hostel in Howlong, NSW.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
-
Knowledge and experience in working to the compliance of the Food Safety Standards to HACCP level
-
Strong time management and communication skills
-
Understanding of residents' rights, person-centred care and dignity of risk
-
Ability to manage change efficiently and effectively
-
Ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook)
-
Certificate III & IV in Commercial Cookery/Hospitality
-
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
-
Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards and special dietary needs
-
Experience in Aged Care desirable
-
Current First Aid Certificate desirable
-
Excellent communication skills
-
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
-
Availability to work weekend shifts
