Training Support Officer - 6-month Fixed Term Contract

We’re looking for an energetic and hands-on Training Support Officer to join our People, Culture & Capability team during an exciting period of change. This role is perfect for someone who loves being on the floor, delivering engaging training and helping people build confidence and capability. You’ll play a key role in supporting our people through learning, induction and the rollout of our new CRM system.

Who are we?

Teachers Health was created by teachers for teachers over 70 years ago and is the only health fund exclusively for the education community. As a not-for-profit health fund, we exist for our members covering the lives of over 500,000 teachers, education staff & their families.

What will you do? / How will you help?

In this hands-on training role, you will:

Design, develop and deliver engaging face-to-face and virtual training sessions
Support new starters through their induction by providing coaching, feedback and assessments
Prepare training calendars, session plans and learning resources
Create and update learning materials including presentations, workbooks, eLearning content, activities and assessments
Facilitate training for our new CRM system (Civica), including train-the-trainer sessions
Review training effectiveness and identify opportunities for refresher training or coaching
Collaborate with team leaders and stakeholders to uplift capability across the business

What do you need? /What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role, you will have:

At least 12 months’ experience in a training, enablement or coaching role
Experience delivering training in virtual and/or face-to-face environments
Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly articulate information
A proactive, energetic and engaging approach to training delivery
Confidence working on-site and being hands-on with learners
Must be an a Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen

Nice to have (but not essential):

Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
Experience creating eLearning content (e.g. Articulate)
CRM training experience (Civica highly regarded, or experience transitioning between systems)
Experience in Private Health Insurance or a contact centre environment

This role will offer hybrid where possible but will require 5 days a week in the office for a large part.

The salary package (inclusive of super) for this role is $102,629
