An amazing opportunity exists for a Library - Programs Officer to join the Library Programs team at the City of Kwinana. This is a part-time position reporting to the Library Programs Senior Team Leader, and working alongside a superstar team. Your primary focus as a Programs Officer is developing and delivering high quality, responsive and integrated library programs and activities that build community capacity and promote lifelong learning in a customer centric environment.

What You’ll Need
To make an impact in this role, you will have:

Experience in a similar role.
Sound experience researching, developing, implementing and reviewing high quality, responsive and customer-focused community programs
Developed interpersonal, negotiation, communication and influencing skills.
Experience in stakeholder engagement and managing successful partnerships.
Experience promoting and marketing programs in an innovative way.
Developed analytical, evaluation and report writing skills.
Demonstrated ability to mentor, motivate and train program facilitators in a customer centric environment.
Tertiary qualification in library and information studies, community development, education or a related field and/or substantial experience in a similar related role.
Possession of a Driver’s Licence, Police Clearance and willingness to obtain an Apply First Aid Certificate and Fire Warden certificate.
Ability to work after hours as needed.
