This thriving ASX-listed company that leads the way in their sector is seeking the support of an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. Based in Brisbane’s Inner City, the offices are in a central location and close to public transport connections with lots of lunchtime dining options.
Your new role
Supporting the Payroll Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Setting up new employees on the payroll system
- Employee file maintenance
- High volume payroll processing
- Payroll calculations
- Interpreting employment agreements
- Liaising with employees regarding payroll queries
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience working in a medium to high volume payroll environment
- EBA and award interpretation experience
- Exceptional communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to work in a high-volume and changing environment
