Your new role
As a Customer Engagement Officer, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the relationship between the State Government and the community. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing customer engagement strategies to enhance public interaction and satisfaction.
- Managing and responding to customer enquiries and feedback through various communication channels.
- Coordinating community outreach programmes and events to promote government initiatives and services.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent and effective communication with the public.
- Analysing customer data to identify trends and areas for improvement in service delivery.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in customer engagement, community relations, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools.
- A passion for public service and community engagement.
