Our client, a NSW Government agency, is seeking two experienced Project Officers to join a new, small, collaborative team responsible for managing the development and enhancement of a key NSW registration system. This project will be supporting an IT related platform that two delivery agencies are managing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellent stakeholder engagement; reporting for stakeholders
- Provide timely, relevant analysis and strategic advice on project and program-related matters
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project and program plans, including logic frameworks, tracking tools, monitoring systems, and reporting mechanisms.
- Documentation and administration for internal
- Minister stakeholder management
- Record management
- Internal governance - "laying foundations for the future"
- One drive and shared drive cleaning
- Ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel, Trim and Objective.
- Administration duties as per instructions
- Maintaining electronic document managements to capture key information of historical knowledge that requires cleaning up.
- Design and implement streamlined processes and procedures to support effective project delivery. Create and manage risk tracking tools and contribute to mitigation planning.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Again, extremely strong stakeholder management
- Mid way through this project you will have the ability to work in an unknown environment
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, particularly in refining business rules and program logic for in-progress initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in government settings and strong business analysis capabilities.
- Familiarity with IT project environments is highly desirable (technical expertise not required, but understanding of standards and risks is advantageous).
