Toll Aviation is seeking experienced and motivated Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) to join our high-performing Sydney-based aviation maintenance team. This is your opportunity to contribute to critical aeromedical services and be part of a professional, safety-first culture.
This is a permanent position based at Mascot.
About the Role
As a LAME with Toll Aviation, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and airworthiness of our fleet of King Air B300 aircraft (Proline Fusion) and Pilatus PC-24 jets in support of a vital air ambulance contract. Working as part of our Maintenance and Engineering team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety, compliance, and operational readiness of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with CASA regulations and Toll procedures.
- Ensure timely completion of all maintenance tasks, contributing to minimal aircraft downtime.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, flight crew and operational support teams to meet service requirements.
Skills & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- CASR Part 66 B1 or B2 Licence with a type rating on B300 (Proline Fusion) – highly regarded
- Type rating or licence coverage for Pilatus PC-24 and FJ44 engines – highly desirable
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical) or equivalent trade qualification
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
- A flexible and team-oriented approach, including the ability to work shifts and respond to operational demands
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC)
