About the role
As a Technical Product Lead, you will ensure that the technical solution design aligns with Sydney Water's requirements and standards. Your expertise in Configuration, ABAP, and Fiori will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions. You'll ensure development standards are appropriate and meet Sydney Water's criteria. The technical design should primarily utilize standard SAP functionality, with minimal customizations justified by the business benefits they provide. You'll collaborate closely with ISP leads and team members, actively participating in design workshops and constructively challenging design decisions when necessary.
Responsibilities
Responsible for contributing to the estimation review, resource planning and demand management activities required to deliver SAP Product changes.
Responsible for doing spot checks on development changes to ensure they are adhering to approved development standards.
Contribution to the optimisation and automation of current processes relevant to Enterprise Solutions.
Immersing into the finer details of business processes and business rules across the organisation to understand the dependencies between business units and to provide solution design decisions that will allow for reusability of new functionality in the future.
Accountable for the solution design, development assurance for the following core products, but not limited to:
SAP FICA Product
SAP REFX Product
SAP CRM Product
SAP IS-U Billing Product
SAP IS-U Device Management Product
SAP SSA (Self Service Accelerator)
SAP BTP
Stream Serve
And any other related products for the SAP Front Office solution.
About You
Essential Requirements
Strong relationship with all levels in Digital and Sydney Water divisions.
Minimum of solid 10 years’ experience in transformation and delivery of SAP solutions including SAP ISU and SAP CRM.
Undergraduate degree in Information Systems, related discipline or equivalent. Post graduate degree is desirable.
Significant knowledge and experience in the design, solution assurance, documentation, testing and support of enterprise scale applications, hosted on premise and in the cloud.
Sound working knowledge of IT delivery management principles and frameworks including and SAP best practice methods.
SAP ABAP and FIORI development experience.
