THE OPPORTUNITY
- Work closely with the Coordinators in the day to day management of the Museum and/or Gallery
- Recording of statistical data
- Undertaking a range of exhibition and collection documentation tasks
- Assist with the promotion of exhibitions and events on the website and through social media

Council is seeking an individual with enthusiasm for the Arts and an understanding of the public gallery/museum operations. You will provide essential customer service and front of house reception at the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame and/or Tamworth Regional Gallery. The role will also involve assisting with the promotion of the Gallery/Museum exhibitions and events on the website and through social media.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders as well as a passion for delivering quality customer service to all customers and volunteers.
The Gallery & Museums Visitor Experience Officer (Casual) is responsible for:
Providing essential customer service and front of house reception at the Australian Country Music Hall of Fame and /or Tamworth Regional Gallery
- Work closely with the Coordinators in the day to day management of the Museum and/or Gallery
- Recording of statistical data
- Undertaking a range of exhibition and collection documentation tasks
- Assist with the promotion of the Museum exhibitions and events on the website and through social media
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED
- Certificate III in Gallery/ Museum Administration or similar
- NSW Drivers Licence
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Salary range: Grade 6 - $39.77-$43.03 per hour plus 12% superannuation. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.
Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
