We’re seeking a dedicated and experiencedRegional HSE Advisorto join our team inKewdale, WA, supporting our operations in Kewdale and Forrestfield in Western Australia. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a safety-first culture in a dynamic and essential industry.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, HSE - SST & FG, you’ll be responsible for driving the proactive implementation and continuous improvement of Toll’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategy. You’ll provide practical, on-the-ground support to operational teams, ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods legislation and company standards, while promoting Toll’s core values ofCustomer, Integrity, Teamwork, Progress, and Accountability. Your expertise indangerous goods logistics, incident investigation, and stakeholder engagement will be key to supporting our people and protecting our operations.
Key Responsibilities
Champion Toll’s “Safety Obsessed” cultural change program and coach leaders to embed safety-first behaviours.
Provide direct onsite HSE support across WA operations, including DG transport and high-risk logistics.
Lead the development and implementation of local HSE systems aligned with Toll’s global standards.
Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations using ICAM or similar methodologies.
Deliver HSE training, toolbox talks, and performance reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Support emergency response planning, contractor onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in HSE roles within logistics, transport, or heavy industry.
Strong knowledge of HSE legislation, ISO standards (AS4801, ISO14001), and DG transport regulations.
Proven ability to influence, coach, and collaborate with operational teams and external bodies.
Experience with incident investigation methodologies and HSE reporting systems (e.g., TRAC).
