The role
We are seeking a Graduate Landscape Architect to join our Asset Design team. This role supports the planning and delivery of landscape design documentation for parks, open spaces, playgrounds, sports fields, and soft landscaping of infrastructure assets. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate to grow their skills while contributing to projects that enhance public spaces across the City.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Undertake landscape design and drafting for various capital works projects.
- Assist with site investigations and preparation of design reports.
- Prepare cost estimates for landscape elements and support construction planning.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, residents, utilities, and government agencies.
- Maintain accurate job costing records and adhere to quality standards.
- Support the team’s use of design software and contribute to continuous improvement.

You will have
- A recently completed tertiary qualification in Landscape Architecture, or similar qualification.
- Some experience with landscape design and knowledge of relevant Australian Standards.
- Good drafting skills and ability to work with design software including AutoCAD and Adobe software packages. Previous experience in Rhino and Lumion will be highly regarded.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- C Class NSW Driver’s Licence (Provisional P2 minimum).
- Previous work experience in the field is desirable.
The salary range for this opportunity starts at $71,819.84 (Grade D, Step 1) plus 12% super.
