About the Role
Shoalhaven's Southern Construction Team is looking for an experienced and hands-on Ganger to supervise and support civil construction and maintenance teams across the Southern District. These responsibilities include:
- Supervise and direct 3-6 workers or contractors on-site
- Operate and maintain civil construction plant and equipment
- Undertake manual tasks like concreting, drainage, kerb and gutter, and traffic control
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance across all work
- Respond to emergencies within our community

Being available to be on-call and complete reasonable overtime is a requirement of this position.
About You
To be successful in the position, you will have:
- Minimum of 2 years' civil works experience
- NSW Class MR Licence
- General Construction Induction Card (white card)
- Traffic management tickets (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven experience in site supervision and coordination
- A proactive, safety-first attitude and commitment to teamwork
