Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the Customer Service and Business Support Officer is responsible for the provision of high-quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

The Role
• Provides customer service and cashier processing for Council and Service NSW services;
• Provides exceptional customer service to manage and resolve the issues of both internal and external customers, ensuring a positive customer experience;

• Provides an opportunity to undertake a diverse range of duties across the Finance and Administration directorate in the areas of customer service, financial reporting, and business support services.
About You
• You are a motivated and agreeable individual with a can-do attitude;
• You have experience in delivery of exceptional Customer Service preferably in retail, banking or another regulated environment;
• You relish working across a variety of disciplines, with procedures and systems to support you;
• Your exceptional interpersonal skills enable you to negotiate win-win outcomes;
• Be a reliable and respectful team member who thrives on collaboration with others.

This position is Grade 7 in accordance with Council's Salary System and the Local Government (State) Award 2023. Council offers an attractive salary range between $1,203-1349.04 per week plus superannuation.
