Our ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly organised administrator with a Certificate III in Business (Office Administration) or equivalent experience, have proven skills in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You will have excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, a strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality support to multiple operational teams. Local Government experience, minute taking, and knowledge of systems such as Technology One or ELO are desirable, along with a proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach. What we are looking for This is an exciting opportunity to work with an ever-changing dynamic team within the Mid-Western Regional Council. This role is a full-time opportunity, based on site in Mudgee. The salary range being offered for this full-time position is $2,498.60-$2,813.00 gross per fortnight plus superannuation which equates to an annual salary of $64,963- $73,138 gross plus superannuation (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience). Key Accountabilities - To provide accurate and timely administrative and secretarial support to Roads, Water, Sewer, Waste and Development Engineering departments;
- To liaise with customers and contractors and provide excellent customer service support for the Roads, Water, Sewer, Waste and Development Engineering departments;
- To implement processes to ensure the effective and efficient flow of information and documentation relevant to each department including updating Council’s electronic record management system;
- To cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of Mid-Western Regional Council;
- Other duties as directed by the supervisor not exceeding the skill level of the position; and
- To actively promote and demonstrate the core values and behavioural requirements of the Workplace Environment Statement.
