About the Role
As a
Property Officer, you will:
- Prioritise safety in all aspects of lease management
- Oversee lease agreements, rental reviews, insurances, and debtor management
- Conduct regular inspections of leased properties to ensure compliance with lease terms
- Assist in developing and implementing leasing policies and maintaining accurate lease records
- Prepare invoices and follow up on outstanding payments for outdoor dining licences and road reserve leases
- Work with the Facility Services Administration Officer to ensure accurate on-charging of utilities to lessees
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders regarding lease management and compliance
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in property or lease management within a government or corporate environment
- Sound knowledge of real estate laws, leasing practices, and regulatory requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and property management systems
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills in lease and contract management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
- Ability to build positive relationships with lessees, stakeholders, and colleagues
- Professional, organised, and customer-focused with strong teamwork and discretion
- A current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence
Desirable
- Previous experience in local government or public sector property management
- Experience using Technology One or similar systems
