Applications are invited for the position of Construction Team Leader, based at Council's Inverell Works Centre. The successful applicant shall be an in-field working supervisor responsible for the management and control of the Construction Unit and some maintenance programs.

Essential Criteria:
Qualifications
- NSW School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement or equivalent;
- Successful completion of an approved course for supervisors
OR
Suitable experience;
- NSW Class C Drivers Licence or equivalent;
- SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Card (TCP); and
- SafeWork NSW General Construction Induction card ('Whiter Card')
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of roadwork techniques and quality control requirements; and
- Knowledge of structural practices
Desirable Criteria:
Qualifications
- First Aid Certificate;
- SafeWork NSW Traffic Control Work Card (IMP); and
- Safe Work near Overhead Powerlines Certificate.
Employment will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Local Government (State) Award 2023. The classification for the position will be up to Administrative/ Technical/ Trades Band 2, Level 2, Grade 10. Salary will be in accordance with qualifications and experience, and will be in a range from $1,349.60 to $1,453.46 gross per week.
