About the Opportunity
At Port Macquarie-Hastings Council (PMHC), every employee plays a part in ensuring we work together to achieve positive outcomes for our community. To help us achieve this, we are seeking an experienced
ERP Systems Administrator to join our team.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the administration, support, and optimisation of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, Civica Authority, as well as supporting our transition to the cloud-based Altitude platform. This position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong technical expertise and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience in ERP system administration (ideally Civica Authority or similar platforms such as TechnologyOne).
- Strong knowledge of database management (SQL Server), application patching, upgrades, and system monitoring.
- Experience with cloud environments, particularly SaaS-based ERP solutions.
- Solid understanding of integration platforms, system security, and user access management.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage incidents and deliver timely resolutions.
- Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with ERP technologies and practices.
On a typical day, this role will:
- Manage the administration, configuration, and monitoring of the Council’s ERP system (Authority) and prepare for the Altitude migration.
- Apply patches, upgrades, and fixes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintain system performance, security, and compliance, including user access and audit controls.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ERP-related incidents and issues.
- Work with vendors, business stakeholders, and the Digital Technology team to deliver system enhancements and improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date system documentation, technical guides, and process records.
- Support testing and change management activities associated with ERP projects.
Remuneration and Benefits
Employment Type: Full time, Permanent 35 hours per week
Salary (exclusive of super): Starting in the range of $97,130 to $108,719 depending on skills and experience
